Tasting Notes

Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Jan 13
Medium ruby-red, a bit less saturated than the La Riotte. High-pitched aromas of cherry, black raspberry, flowers and spices. Quite penetrating in the mouth owing to firm, harmonious acidity and good saline minerality. Dark fruit flavors are joined on the classically dry finish by notes of pepper, spices and minerals. Classy and stylish premier cru. Perrot-Minot expressed the opinion that Vosne-Romanee and the north side of Chambolle-Musigny were favored in 2011 owing to lower precipitation levels.
